NYSC 2016 BATCH B MOBILIZATION EXERCISE – HOW I AM AFFECTED*
In respect of the NYSC 2016 Batch
B Mobilization Exercise, various complaints by affected prospective corps
members are categorized and explained as follows:1. *NO RECORD FOUND*.REASONS.a. The affected students might have passed all
courses required and cleared at the departments and by the faculties, the
Committee of Provo stand Deans (COP &D) might also have considered the
moderated results; *BUT*the University Senate would *NOT* have approved the
results as and when mobilization was done. The affected students whose results
are yet to be approved by Senate are YET to be finally cleared.b. Possible omission on the part of the
Student affairs Office; for fresh data captured.Corps Producing Institutions (CPI’s) upload might not have
been properly discharged by the Directorate of NYSC on its portal; for PCM saccess.SOLUTION.The affected
person has to wait till Senate approves results for newsletter,
newslette rtheir mobilisation at the next available opportunity.2. *ON ERROR UPLOAD LIST*.REASONS.a. The affected PCM’s input might be needed to resolve issues of:i. names mismatch or arrangement that are different from what obtains on the
JAMB admission letter and /or the O’
level results tenderedand used for registration into 100 level, and 200 or 300 level (for direct entry
students).ii. wrong input of JAMB
registration number and/ or Students’matriculation
number r
SOLUTION.An affected PCM needs to know from *a list hereto* attached to
identify and obviate the error(s) at drstudents@lautech.edu.ng for
necessary action by the Students’
Affairs officers. No need for a trip to report atSchool.*It may also be
possible to fill the form directly in the affected students' undergraduate
portal from Saturday, October 22, 2016 to Saturday,October 29, 2016. Log on to
check, please. Also, indicate your case;either NO RECORD FOUND or ON ERROR
UPLOAD LIST in the complaint column.

3. **INABILITY
/OR NON READINESS TO PROCEED WITH REGISTRATION ONNYSC PORTAL*REASONS.a. wrong input of Date of Birth and /or
other conflicting detailsb. Directorate
of NYSC has slated a PCM for exemptionSOLUTION.
i. An affected PCM will need to know that
the date of birth thatisreckoned and being used by the Directorate of NYSC is
what it obtained fromCPI’s previously
captured biodata, as earlier submitted by a CPI for O’level (WAEC, NECO and NABTEB) examinations, and as
the School might have submitted (which by experience seldom counts at the
Directorate of NYSC).
ii. an
affected PCM is follow instruction on how to change date of birth as directed on
NYSC website
iii. an affected PCM is
required to submit (School’s Students AffairsOffice): Primary
school leaving certificate,o newsletter, newsletterO’ level notification ofresult or certificate
iv. an affected PCM is to understand that
correction processes have*NEVER* being prompt and might last the service year
span.*EXEMPTION OR DISCHARGE CERTIFICATE *All PCM’s are to understand that exemption certificate (for
those who were disallowed from undertaking the one year mandatory service on
the reason ofage – over 30
years) and discharge certificate (for those mobilized to participate in the
service) are both valid and can be tendered for due processes where required.In
addition to the information as in the foregoing, ALLPCM's who might have been
affected as in 1(b) but have Statement of Results can submit their details again
with the table shown below. (Attach a scan copy of the statement result,
please).*It may also be possible to fill the form directly in the
affected students' undergraduate portal from Saturday, October 22, 2016 to
