The longest serving Chelsea captain John Terry has been named as the Aston Villa captain. The captain came out of the stadium on a Saturday evening preseason game. After much expectations, they were happy to see the former Chelsea captain in blue claret. The 36-year old captain made his presence felt from the back as defender against the Shrewsbury team. He has signed a single year contract with Steve Bruce's outfit men in order to get them back from relegation.
The team coach said he expected him to make a great impact for the team as he has already did against Shrewsbury. Terry, the new captain was pictured signing autograph for several fans of the club and he was about to enter the stadium on Saturday. The game was Aston Villa's third in pre-season, following a win against Kidderminster Barriers and Telford United.
