It is in you. You will be wondering what's in me. That greatness you desire; the success you crave for. The only thing limiting you from achieving this is YOU. All of us are created with seeds of greatness in the inside of us. We are not vacuums. I can remember a conference I went for, a lady asked one of the speakers; is it possible for one to be giftless?
The speaker replied her ,everyone has one gift or more, the only thing is that she is yet to discover and she is unaware of her potentials. Many of us are like this lady we are yet to discover our potentials and we feel useless.
Your potential is God's gift to you and it's inside you. Discovering it only brings it to your notice. The best and easiest way to discover your potentials is by asking your creator who created you with it. He knows the reason for your existence. Stick to God for clarification . Other ways you can discover your potentials is what you are very good at, what you are so passionate about and what you enjoy doing every time.
After discovering it, then you develop it. You nurture it until it gets mature. God gives you potential at a raw state but you develop it and make it marketable.
God gives you cocoa, but you are to process it to chocolate. It then becomes palatable and more marketable. If yours is singing, go for rehearsals, voice training and all the likes. Whatever your potentials are, it is left for you to develop them by going for capacity building trainings, seminars, meaningful discussions, reading your Bible, studying, improving your skills and having a mentor to guide you through your journey.
Remember, potentials are not discovered in a day and it takes diligence and consistency to develop it.
The last stage is deploying it. After it fully matures, you bring them into effective action. To impact, solve problems and be the light where there is darkness. If you keep ripe oranges in your room and you don't sell it. Such oranges gets rotten and become useless. But if sold they give nutrients, add value and it is appreciated. Maximize your potentials effectively.
